Delta, UT-Having completed life to her satisfaction, Barbara B. Barlow left this world on April 12, 2017 at the Millard Care & Rehabilitation facility in Delta, UT. She accomplished much in her 86 years as she continually strived to better herself. She was an example to all in setting and achieving life's goals.

Oldest child of Elmer and Anna Rasmussen Broadhead, Barbara was born April 9, 1931 in Levan.

Barbara lived in Millard County for about 50 years. During this time she obtained a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and a Doctorate from Brigham Young University. She was employed as a Teacher, Principal, District Supervisor, and retired after 31 years. She was also an intern school psychologist and counselor during this time.

Married Gordon Leon Nielson in 1953. They divorced.

In 2000, Barbara moved to Provo, Utah. In 2004, she was married and sealed to Bowman O. Barlow in the Salt Lake City Temple. Together, they have a blended family of 7 living children, 19 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren

Survived by children: Vicki Palmer, Newbury Park, CA; Ellen (Frank) Batty, Annabella; Susan (Terry) Nabb, Lewiston, ID; Margo (Ladd) Holman, Leamington; Peggy (Carl) Bezanson, Evanston, WY; Thomas (Christine) Nielson, Salt Lake; Clark Nielson, Leamington; 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, David Broadhead, Larry Broadhead and Fenton Broadhead; sister, Linda Garfield. Preceded in death by husband, Bowman O. Barlow; son, Lyle Leon Nielson and grandson, Jared Bezanson.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street, Provo, Utah. A visitation was held at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center Street, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. prior to services at the cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.bergmortuary.com.
