Rayola Taylor Smith, age 88 left this earth to rejoin with her deeply missed husband Raymond L. Smith on Thursday November 23, 2017 “Thanksgiving night” in Santaquin, Utah.

Rayola was born June 19, 1929 in Delta, South Track to Platt & May Maxfield Taylor the youngest of four children. She grew up and attended schools in Delta, Utah. At just 18 she married Raymond Smith September 10, 1947 in Magill, White Pine Co, Nevada. They were married for 60 plus years and together raised four kids, three sons and one daughter. Mom enjoyed the simple life and simple things. She wasn’t much for traveling, camping or even going out to the movies. She did enjoy being a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for many years. She was a lifetime member of the LDS church and taught those principals to her children in her own way. She was content to sit in her family room and watch the Jazz play. Her children and her grandchildren were what she lived for.
