Apr. 9, 1942 ~ Jan. 30, 2018

Revenna Atwood Winfield, 75, peacefully passed away January 30, 2018 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in Longview, Washington.

She was born April 9, 1942 in Charleston, Utah to Leslie and Eunice (Lister) Atwood. She was raised in West Jordan, Utah and graduated from Bingham High School. Shortly after high school, she enrolled in beauty school in Salt Lake City, Utah and graduated at the top of her class. She was employed at a local salon for a short time. In January 1962, she was married in Salt Lake City and had three daughters, Gena (Justin) Rowlette, Delta, Utah; Brenda (Ron) Willard, Longview, Washington and Diana Mark, Bellingham, Washington.

She and her husband bought a home and remodeled a room in the basement into a salon so she could continue her passion for cosmetology while staying home with her daughters. Revenna was very talented and had many hobbies. She loved to oil-paint and painted beautiful pictures of the Salt Lake Valley mountains. She was a seamstress and made all the clothes for her girls when they were toddlers; loved to crochet and was an exceptionally good cook. She was always ready for a camping trip and loved the outdoors; camping, fishing, riding horses, snowmobiling and 4-wheeling. She moved to Delta, Utah and stayed for 10 years. She loved the people at the Grace Baptist Church where she faithfully attended Sunday services. She participated in many functions at the church and very much enjoyed reading with the children at Grace Baptist School. Revenna was very a selfless, warmhearted and spunky person, always making friends wherever she went.

She is survived by her 7 grandchildren, Tony (Kristina) Black, Ferndale, Washington; Isabella Oberlander, Bellingham, Washington; Cassandra (Sean) Doyle, Spokane, Washington; Rachelle (Michael) Hutton, Longview, Washington; Austin Willard, Mapleton, Utah; Ryan (Maggie) Webster, Delta, Utah; Danielle (Brock) Moody, Delta, Utah; and 11 great grandchildren all of whom she loved with all her heart. She was preceded in death by her father Leslie Atwood, her mother Eunice Lister Atwood, a brother, Leon Atwood and sister, Devon Atwood Thomas. Graveside services will be held at the Longview Memorial Park in Longview, Washington, Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 2 p.m.

You are dearly loved by so many and will be missed immensely.
