Materion Natural Resources, located in Delta, Utah, is seeking candidates to fill an IT Facilities Maintenance Technician position. Applicants must have an equivalent of an Associate’s degree in Electronics, Controls, or Information Technology, and two plus years practical experience. Extended experience and practical knowledge could replace academic experience. Responsibilities include ensuring proper operation, maintenance and improvement of various plant systems including the plant automation control system, troubleshooting network connectivity issues, providing user software support, following system backup protocols, and managing assigned projects. This position is dynamic and serves as a vital technical link between the extraction and mine facilities and our corporate IT department. Strong team, communication and training skills are necessary, along with the maturity and ability to work effectively with various department heads, vendors and corporate IT professionals. This position requires self-motivation and innovative methods to solve practical problems.
