Fillmore, Utah - Carl Thomas DeMolen, 68, passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 from an accident near Delta, Utah. He was born January 3, 1949 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to Francis and Lillian DeMolen. He was married to Meria Magdalena DeMolen.

Jerald “Jed” A Finlinson died peacefully at home on Sunday, August 20, 2017.

Jed was born on January 12, 1939, in the East bedroom of his parents and grandparents home in Oak City, Utah.

Jed attended Oak City Elementary, Delta High School, Utah State University (USU), Snow College, College of Santa Fe and Tulane University. He wrestled in high school and college. Since he was a boy, he loved having and taking care of animals. At any given time in his life he had various combinations of pigeons, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, goats, etc. Jed also enjoyed having many plants in his home.

He met and married Carol F. Hoodless while attending USU. They were married in June of 1959, later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Working was something Jed was used to from a young age. He grew up working on the family farm. After graduating from college, he worked for the EPA and several health departments in Colorado, Utah and Idaho. Entrepreneurship was also in his blood. Jed had several small businesses, including selling LDS church books, a bookkeeping and accounting business and owned the Oak City Shopping Mall.

After Carol's death, Jed's empty heart was filled when he met and married Janet Hansen. Together, Jed and Janet faithfully served in the Fiji Suva and the Micronesia Guam Missions. After their missions, they completed their family by adopting Diecilia, Butolia, Peter and Ricardo from Haiti. They also welcomed many exchange students from around the world into their home and enjoyed keeping in touch with them.

Jed loved the Gospel of Jesus Christ and served in many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, including as a Bishop in Denver, Colorado.

He is survived by wife, Janet; children, Chet, deceased (Joan) Finlinson, Rick (Abbie) Finlinson, Loreen (Richard) Chisholm, Carmen (Mike) Henrie, Diecilia, Butolia, Peter (Maddi) and Ricardo; 18 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol; sons, Chet and James; sister, Lois; brother, Jack; and his parents, Marvin and Elva.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, August 26, 2017, at the Ammon 6th Ward Building, 2150 Avocet Drive. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Wood East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road and Saturday from 11-11:45 a.m. prior at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.

Delbert “Dell” U. Brinkerhoff, 91, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, August 13, 2017 in St. George, Utah. He was born August 31, 1925, in McCormick, Utah to Wendell D. and Stella Ethel Hutchings Brinkerhoff.

He graduated from Millard High School in 1953. He was drafted and served his country during WWII as an M.P., he was honorably discharged in 1946. Dell was an avid outdoorsman, he loved baseball, and also coached Little League

Dell married Janice Johnson in 1957, they later divorced. He then met and married the love of his life, Brigitte Rohling on January 1, 1992. Dell and Janice had 4 children, Kerry, Michael, Debbie and Karen. Brigitte brought 4 daughters, Merrilynn, Cheryl, Elayne and Diana into their marriage. Brigitte and Dell were married for 25 years, their marriage was solemnized in the Las Vegas Temple on August 4, 1995.

He is survived by his wife, Brigitte; his four children and four step-children; 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Pearl (Junior) Robison, Golda (Dale) Allgood and Ginger (Larry) Mikesell; and brother, Fay (Wanda) Brinkerhoff. He will be greatly missed.

The family would like to thank the IHC nursing staff for their loving care and support.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 18, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at the Spilsbury Mortuary Chapel, 110 S. Bluff, St. George, UT. There will be a viewing prior to services Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Mortuary. Interment will take place in the Tonaquint Cemetery.

Roger Delynn Davis,75, passed away on August 21, 2017 in St George, UT. He was born November 27, 1941 in Delta, UT to Marion J (Tam) and Orda Helen Allen Davis. He married Gaylyn Cropper from Deseret UT. They were married in Deseret UT on June 12, 1964 and later sealed in the Manti Temple on March 30, 1966.

Roger started his working career with Union Pacific Railroad as a telegrapher clerk.  He later  worked for Carter Brothers Construction for 18 years, and retired from Southern Utah University after 13 years.     Roger attended BYU; but later graduated from Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah. 

He is survived by his wife, Gaylyn of St George UT;  his children: Debbie (Doug) Chandler of Lehi, Utah; Gregory (Ashlee) Davis of Cedar City, Utah; Matthew (Holly) Davis of South Jordan, Utah; Jeffrey (Jennifer) Davis of Lehi,Utah; Christian (Leanne) Davis of San Francisco, California; his 14 grandchildren; Brother & sisters: Dennis (Linda) Davis of Moroni, Utah; Tami Hansen of Spanish Fork, Utah; Cindy (Ralph) Christensen of Mapleton, Utah.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Karolyn Lee Ivie, and brother Ronald Davis.

Funeral services were held Saturday. Interment will be at the Cedar City Utah Cemetery.
