Lewis Blain Anderson, age 79, our loving father, brother, grandfather, and friend passed away November 13, 2012 at his home in Oak City, Utah from complications of cancer. He was born February 25, 1933 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah to Lewis Mads and Ida Leota Andersen Anderson.

He married Neva Jean Edeburn July 11, 1955 in the Manti Temple.

He was an active member of the LDS church and served in many church callings and had a great love for sharing the Book of Mormon with everyone he could. He served a mission to the East Central States Mission form 1953-1955.

Survived by four sons and three daughters, Lewis Blain, Jr (Linda) Anderson; Teresa (Dan) Andersen; Kristeen (Scott) Gough; Maurice Scott (Tara) Anderson; Justus Martel (Hollie) Anderson; Pamala Rene’(Carl) Crockett; John Aaron( Libby) Anderson; 29 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; two sisters and three brothers. Preceded in death by his wife, Neva Jean, one son, Don and one sister.

Celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2012 in the Oak City, Utah LDS chapel (135 East Center Street). Family and friends may call from 9-11 prior to the services at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Oak City 2nd Ward missionary fund or Central Utah Hospice.
