Delta Laundry Co. is open and ready for business.

Owned and operated by Jason and Aubree May, the laundromat officially started the first week of April, after undergoing months of renovation starting in late 2023.

The Mays started the laundromat after seeing a desperate need for accessible laundry services in the community.

“This was all Jason’s idea,” Aubree said of the business. “But I feel like it’s very needed here.”

“The town needed it for sure,” Emily Banda, employee said. “There’s a lot of families that don’t have washers and dryers, and there’s multifamily homes…there’s a need.”

Even though it’s only in its inaugural weeks of business, Aubree said the laundromat has exploded with customers.

“It’s been really packed,” Aubree said. Weekends have been the busiest times, Banda added.

Delta Laundry Co. is open 24/7 for self-serve laundry, and boasts 12 washing machines and dryers, all coin or card operated. The facility also features plenty of seating space and a large flat screen television to provide entertainment while waiting to switch loads.

There’s even snacks in a vending machine, and soap, softener and other laundry needs are available for a small fee.

Have lots to wash, but no time to do it?

There’s a service for that too. Banda offers washing and folding services by appointment only. Call or text 435-348-1442 for more information.

“If they want me to to transport, like picking up and dropping off, I can do that as well,” Banda said. Banda has worked with the Mays for a few years, and offered her services in their newest business venture.

“She’s our right hand gal,” Aubree said.

Delta Laundry Co. is located at 279 E Main in Delta.
