Raymond Earl Timm, age 64 of Baker Nevada was tragically taken from this life on September 8, 2022.

He was born August 15, 1958 to Irl Glen Timm, and Velma Irene Timm of Callao, Utah. Raymond attended Delta High School, Delta, Utah class of 1976. He was a talented athlete, and was a part of one of the greatest wrestling teams Delta high ever produced.

He spent most of his professional career as a skilled miner/ driller and had the opportunity to work in places all over the world including China, Germany, Mexico, and Australia.

He loved to fish, and spend time with family whenever he could. He was a kind and loving friend to all who knew him. He served six years in the Utah National Guard, and did active duty in Germany.

Raymond was the oldest of Irl, and Velma’s three children, siblings were Dennis Timm (Cindy) of Callao, and sister Tonia Timm Bagley (Robert) of Tucson, Arizona. Raymond was also blessed to have six older siblings from Velma’s previous marriage to George Fredrick Sims who died in February 1957; Ellen Sims Wing of Salt Lake City; Verna Sims Gregson (Deceased) Baker, Nevada; Betty Sims Benson of Salt Lake City; Mary Sims Gosselin of Las Vegas, Nevada; Robert George Sims (Franci) of Trout Creek, Utah; Dorothy Sims Stone (Deceased) of Sandstone, Minnesota.

Raymond is also the father to four children, Dustin Raymond Timm of Ramsey, Montana; Tara Suzanne Timm, of Butte Montana; Lacy Marie Timm Anderson, (Wayne) of Baker Nevada, and Brittney Lorraine Timm, of Delta, Utah; and ten grandchildren Trenton Bradley Timm and Sadahalia Rose Timm, of Ramsey, Montana; Clayton Irl Moody, Chaise Joshua Moody, Cayden James Zinda, and Katara Suzanne Sandoval, of Butte, Montana; Raelee Kaye Cropper, Kenzy Bowen, Mason Bowen, Etnie Faye Harris, of Delta, Utah.

Raymond was proceeded in death by his parents Irl, and Velma Timm, his sisters Verna Gregson, and Dorothy Stone. His best friends and childhood buddies, John Shields, Walt Shields, Bret Layland, and Robert (Bob) Sabey. He is survived by his four children, eight grandchildren, and six siblings.

A family memorial service will be held September 23, 2022 in Callao, Utah.
