It is with profound sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of Mason Van Stott age 34, on March 15, 2024.

He departed this world far too soon, leaving behind a multitude of shattered hearts and memories of a life filled with laughter, kindness, and unfulfilled promises.

Mason was born on December 17, 1989, in Fremont, California to Van and Linda Stott. From his earliest days, he was known for his mischievous spirit and infectious laughter, which brought joy to all those around him. He was a beloved son, cherished brother, and loyal friend whose presence lit up the lives of those fortunate enough to know him.

Throughout his life, Mason was known for his passion for adventure and his unwavering determination to live life to the fullest. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, golfing, snowboarding, and softball. Though he may be gone from this world, his spirit will live on in the hearts of countless lives he touched and the memories he created.

Mason is survived by his mother, Linda, Tooele, UT, his father and step-mother, Van and Carol Jean, Meadow, UT. Siblings; Stephanie (Mark) Gilbert, AZ., Logan (Ana) Cocoa, FL., Weston (Jessica) Fillmore, UT, Payton (Megan) Fillmore, UT, as well as two nieces and two nephews, and a wide circle of friends who will miss him dearly.

Mason is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Joe and Joan Stott, grandfather Lawrence Elliott, and cousin Sean Stott.

Viewing and Funeral Services will be held at the Meadow Church. (108 E Center St) Viewing Sunday March 24, 2024, from 5 to 7 p.m. and on Monday March 25, 2024 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the 12 p.m. funeral service. Interment in the Meadow Cemetery.
