A 21-year-old Fillmore woman died from injuries she sustained Sept. 29 while visiting the Meadows hot pots with friends.

Trinity Rose McElhinny died at Utah Valley Hospital shortly after she reportedly fell and hit her head, losing consciousness.

Police and paramedics responded to the scene when a person called 911 at about 4:20 a.m. the morning of the incident.

Funeral services for McElhinny were held Monday.

“She always did her best to share her positive vibes and bring people up. She was always there for anyone who needed her, no matter the circumstances. Anyone who was blessed to know her would know how bright and beautiful her soul was,” an obituary prepared by McElhinny’s family reads.

McElhinny is survived by her mother, two sisters, step-father and two grandmothers.
