Hinckley man jailed after ramming wife's car

A Hinckley man is held without bail after he allegedly rammed his vehicle into his wife’s last week.

Trevor Lyn Miller, 36, was arrested Wednesday after deputies received information a husband was trying to run his spouse off the road near SR-257 and Sr-650 intersection. 

According to a probable cause report, witnesses confirmed the male driver’s actions were aggressive, which resulted in a collisions. 

“Witnesses watched as the male drive(r) crashed into the driver’s side of the female’s vehicle causing both to exit the roadway,” the report states. 

The male driver, later identified as Miller, was detained and allegedly stated without questioning “I’m guilty of all of it,” also stating he was inebriated. 

Miller, along with the victim, were traveling at speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour, the report states. Miller also allegedly admitted “drives often drinking alcohol.” 

The victim told deputies that Miller had additionally threatened her prior to the incident. He is listed as an alcohol restricted driver with a suspended license, and also has a criminal background including reckless driving, alcohol-restricted driving, aggravated assault, robbery and DUI. 

Miller is slated to make an initial appearance Wednesday morning in Fourth District Court.
