A 37-year-old man’s naked exuberance at a Delta watering hole landed him in hot water with the law on Saturday.

Clinton W. Steiner faces multiple charges after allegedly groping a woman and then exposing himself to her during an encounter at Curley’s Lounge.

Deputies arrived at the establishment as the bar’s owner was arguing with the suspect outside, according to a probable cause affidavit filed in Fourth District Court.

According to responding deputies, the bar owner escorted the suspect outside, his pants falling down after he refused to leave the bar on his own.

The bar owner told deputies she kicked the man out of the bar after he grabbed a female patron’s breast—not once, but twice.

“Victim stated she was sitting at the bar and Clinton came up next to her and they started talking. Victim stated before she knew Clinton had his hands on her waist. Victim stated Clinton told her she was his and Victim told Clinton she was no ones,” the affidavit filed in the matter reads. “Victim stated Clinton then grab her breast over her top. Victim stated she pushed Clinton away, but Clinton came back at her and grab (sic) her breast again very hard. Victim was trying to push Clinton away and when she look down she could see Clinton’s penis hanging out of his pants.”

The bar owner and a bar tender then managed to separate Steiner from his alleged victim, according to the arrest report.

When deputies attempted to place Steiner in a patrol vehicle, the suspect allegedly resisted, pushing back on the arresting officers, who eventually used force to get the suspect to comply.

Steiner was charged with sexual battery, a Class A misdemeanor, interfering with the arresting officer, a Class B misdemeanor, lewdness, a Class B misdemeanor, and, intoxication, a Class C misdemeanor.

Steiner was booked into the Millard County Jail, where his bail was eventually set at $4,000 by the court. It was not clear Monday when he would appear before a judge.
