60-year-old ejected from car as it rolled

A Washington County man is dead after he rolled his vehicle Wednesday evening.

Michael Hubbard, 60, was traveling southbound on I-15, when his left the road, according to Sgt. Greg Kelsey, Utah Highway Patrol.

“The vehicle was reported as driving recklessly by several other motorists,” Kelsey said. “A few miles later, the driver allowed the car to drift off the right side of the roadway.”

Hubbard’s vehicle traveled along the shoulder a short distance before rolling. He was ejected from the car, suffering fatal injuries. He was the sole occupant.

Alcohol is being investigated as a potential contributor to the accident, Kelsey said.
