Von was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 1969 to Robert and Beverly Allred. Growing up in Deseret, Von loved playing outside, camping in the mountains, and animals (especially his dogs). At age nine, Von was so excited to get a little sister and a year later, a little brother; he cherished the time he spent with them. He found a passion in working with vehicles. When he was 16, he entered a car in the Millard County Demolition Derby and won first place. Von was always known for his lifted trucks with big tires.

Von was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He attended school in Delta and graduated from Delta High School in 1988. He worked at Allred's Equipment until he married Marci Ludwig, his wife of 17 years (later divorced). After they were married they moved to Cedar City, Utah and Von started working for a building contractor.  A few years later they returned to Delta and he pursued his dream to become a general contractor and started "Von Allred Construction." They had two children together: Tyler Lane and MaKenna Lynn. Von had a brilliant mind in construction and could visualize how a home project was going to look and then build it. He built many beautiful homes including two homes for his family. Spending quality time with his kids and family was his number one priority.

Von touched so many lives with his talents and compassion for others. His family and friends will mourn this loss, but find comfort knowing that families are forever and that we will see him again.

Von is preceded in death by his grandparents: Orin and Jean Allred, Eugene Losee; and uncles: Roger Allred and David Losee. He is survived by his children: Tyler and Kenna; parents: Robert and Beverly; siblings: Katie (Cory) Rogers, Neil (Taylor) Allred; grandmother: June Losee; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 27, at 11:00 am, at the Deseret-Oasis Ward LDS Chapel, 3423 W. 4500 S. in Deseret, Utah. Viewings will be held Sunday, January 26, 6-7 pm, at Nickle Mortuary, 190 South Center St, in Delta; and Monday, 9:30-10:40 am, prior to the service. Interment at the Deseret Cemetery.
