Ellis Junior Kinsey passed away at age 80, on March 13, 2020 in Provo, Utah.

He was born September 10, 1939 in Lehi, Utah to Ellis T. and Violet Bowman Kinsey, Ellis grew up in the Provo/Orem area. Ellis joined the US Army at the age of 17. During his service, he was stationed in Seoul Korea. While there he learned to excel in his woodworking skills.

He married the love of his life, Connie Jean Gordon, on February 12, 1962, in Elko, Nevada. He enjoyed applying his hands to many hobbies. He loved camping, fishing, hunting, woodworking, and fixing up old cars and trucks. He worked for Ahlanders Hardware Store, Geneva Steel, and Millard County Mosquito Control. Most of all he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather, he will be deeply missed by many.

He is survived by his wife: Connie, 6 children: Cindy (Dale) Steele, Clay McKenna, Kathy (Merrill) Chatwin, Gary Kinsey, Kent (Tina) Kinsey, Teressa (Jim) Phillips; 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; 3 sisters: Mary Thomas, Lousie Young, Lola Thorton; and his dogs: Buddy and Daisy. He is preceded in death by his parents: Ellis and Violet Kinsey; sisters: Joyce Ivie, and Vera Holt; and brother: Albert Kinsey.
