Frances Ellen O’Neal, born November 15, 1933 in Meadow, Utah to Harold and Belva Stewart passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 in Meadow, Utah. She was 86 years old at the time of passing.
After being raised as a country girl on the farm she married Richard George O’Neal and they moved to Las Vegas to buy a home and raise a family. She was the most amazing wife, mother and grandmother. She was considerate, caring, passionate, and loved unconditionally. What she loved most was taking care of dad and her children. She was an excellent cook and baker. She, dad and Andrea moved back to Meadow where they had a wonderful life for the last 12 years.
She is survived by daughter Debra Thurgood, daughter Sondra Newman, daughter Donna O’Neal, son Calvin Jay O’Neal and daughter Andrea O’Neal. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard O’Neal, daughter Teresa Sykes, son Randy O’Neal, son Richard Scott O’Neal and son Richard Steven O’Neal. She had 24 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside services will be held Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 11 a.m. in the Meadow Cemetery. The viewings will be held Saturday, May 23, 2020 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and Friday, May 22, 2020 from 6 to 7 p.m., both at the Olpin Stevens Funeral Home in Fillmore.
