Susan (Sue) Frampton, 67, passed away July 16, 2020 in Provo, Utah. Sue was born July 24, 1952 in Fillmore, Utah, to Bertis and Beth Frampton.
Sue was their first child and brought much joy to her parents and grew up surrounded by cousins and relatives.
During Sue’s teenage years she worked as a life guard at the Fillmore Swimming Pool. She made many friends there while teaching swimming lessons and has always cherished those memories. Sue later went to Weber State College and graduated with her nursing degree in 1975. She worked at Holy Cross Hospital for many years as a surgical nurse. She also worked as a nurse recruiter for Saint Marks Hospital and enjoyed getting paid to travel to many places.
Sue made friends wherever she went. She lived in SLC for most of her life, until 8 years ago when she returned home to Fillmore to take care of her mother, Beth. Sue showed love and compassion as she tended to Beth’s needs. Her main focus was always on Beth until she passed away in November.
Sue loved Shih Tzu’s and always had a couple of four legged friends in her home. Her brother, Jim, has been her best friend. Sue had a gift for making friends and made everyone feel like her best friend.
Sue loved candy, especially peanut M&M’s, diet Dr Pepper, Twinkie’s, Little Debbie’s, sitting on the porch, sleeping, visiting with people, knowing the “latest," and having pizza parties with her nieces and nephews. Sue was the funnest aunt always having birthday parties that catered to her nieces and nephews. Sue appreciated “antiques” and had a real gift for finding treasures.
Sue leaves behind her brother Jim (Teresa), her nieces, Jamie, Jessica, and Bailee, her nephews, Brian and Taylor and 15 great nieces and nephews whom she adored.
Graveside services will be held Friday, July 24, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. in the Fillmore City Cemetery with a viewing at 10 a.m. prior to services at the cemetery. Online condolences at rasmussenmortuary.com
