Nov. 10, 1949 ~ Aug. 14, 2020

Our beloved husband, dad and grandpa, M. Glade Stevens, 70, passed away unexpectedly on August 14, 2020 in Provo, Utah.
Born to Milton and LaRue (George) Stevens on November 10, 1949 in Fillmore, Utah.

Glade was taught to be a mathematician by his mother, a schoolteacher, before he lost her at a young age. He then spent countless hours with his “Daddy” helping in the Feed Store, plowing the fields and delivering eggs to Salt Lake City.

He attended Millard High School where he excelled as a three sport athlete in football, basketball and track. After graduating in 1968, Glade went on to play football at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah.

Glade was a simple man with a strong work ethic that lead him to own and operate a successful trucking company and agricultural farm, growing alfalfa and small grains. Farming was his livelihood, his passion, his hobby.

Glade will be remembered for so many great qualities; particularly his big heart, generosity, and love for all people no matter who they were.  He will be deeply missed by his family and all who loved him.

Glade leaves behind his sweetheart, JoLynn, children; Tennille Stevens, Greg (Mindy) Stevens, Jeanette (Trevor) Memmott, Carson (Franki) Stevens, Krystyn Stevens and 11 loving grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 1 p.m. at the Holden Cemetery. There will be an open mic available, and we would love to hear any memories you would like to share. Online condolences rasmussenmortuary.com.
