LuAnne Farnsworth, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 after a hard fought, valiant battle with cancer.

LuAnne was born March 13, 1959 in Delta, Utah to Frank Gale and Norma Kimber Farnsworth. LuAnne was the third child and third girl and was born with the prettiest blue eyes. Her sister, Kathleen, called her "Blue Ann." Early years were spent in Pleasant Grove, Utah, Mesquite, Nevada, and a summer in Logan, Utah before the family returned to Delta to be close to Grandparents. She attended Delta Elementary and graduated with honors from Delta High School. LuAnne attended Snow College, graduating with an Associate's Degree. Due to health issues, she returned to Delta. LuAnne worked at many local businesses. She was employed by Stan Robinson, Elwin Johnson at Delta Valley Farms, worked at the West Millard County Pool, became a cook at the Millard County Care Center and finally worked in the office at Courtesy Ace Hardware before numerous knee surgeries prevented her from working. LuAnne then relocated to Richfield to live with her sister, Kathy.

Both Kathy and LuAnne longed to move and live in Newport, Oregon. They were able to make that happen in the spring of 2017.  A year later, LuAnne was diagnosed with Uterine Cancer. She endured Chemo, radiation, more knee surgeries, blood clots and transfusions along with other health and medical issues. At the time of her death she was being cared for by the wonderful staff at Evergreen Hospice House in Albany, Oregon. She was a resident at Corvallis Manor in Corvallis, Oregon.

LuAnne was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the Primary, was a Cub Scout Leader, Relief Society teacher and loved working with the Young Women, both at the Ward and Stake level in the camping program. LuAnne was blessed with a great spirit, the gift of laughter, a positive and caring attitude and the ability to love others. So many loved her in return, she took care of our Father after Mom died until his passing in February of 2008.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, younger brother: Owen and older sister: Janet. She is survived by her sister: Kathleen Farnsworth of Newport, Oregon; brother: Michael Kimber Farnsworth of Newport,  Oregon; and brother: Neil Kimber (Sheri Zufelt) Farnsworth of Santa Clara, Utah.
