Husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend died at the age of 92.

Parley Pratt Robison was born April 12, 1928 in Fillmore, Utah to Melvin Alonzo and Fauntella Davies Robison. He grew up in Fillmore and Sinks, Utah and graduated from Millard High School in 1946.  After serving in the United States Army he served an LDS mission to Finland.  Parley married Ilean Beck June 29, 1956 in the Manti Temple.  He graduated from the University of Utah in 1957 with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.  After graduation, Parley and Ilean moved around the country while building their family until they moved to Provo, Utah where they lived for 52 years.

Parley worked at Brigham Young University as manager of Computer Operations for 33 years and as an instructor of Computer Science until his retirement. He served as Bishop in the Edgemont 5th Ward in Provo, Utah for 5 years. Parley faithfully served in many positions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as well as working with the youth, attending scout camps and youth conferences. He found joy in taking care of his yard and researching genealogy. He was named after his uncle, Parley Pratt Robison, who was born on April 12 as well and died as a young man.

Parley is survived by his wife Ilean Beck Robison, children Brad (Celeste) Robison, Martha (Larry) Stewart, Rian Robison, Rebecca (William) Brimley; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Siblings True (Lee) Huber, Faun (Carl) Guillette, and sister-in-law Pearl Robison.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jarold Robison and Junior Robison, sisters Phyllis Garland and Estelle Bennett. 

Parley is loved and will be missed until that glorious day when we meet again!
