Jouise B. Fletcher passed away Monday May 3, 2021 at the age of 90, while staying at Millard Care and Rehabilitation.

She was born on Aug. 23, 1930 in Dale, Oklahoma to Burford Garner and Ruby Bell Nave.  There she enjoyed life on a farm, being the eldest of two brothers and two sisters. 

She married Orville Wayne Fletcher on Sept. 9, 1948 in Grand Junction, Colorado. They were sealed in the Provo Temple on July 20, 1993.

She was the wonderful mother to three boys; Allen, James and Gerry, and one sweet girl, Carol Sue, who she raised alone after the unexpected passing of her husband in 1963. Jouise earned a living by working at the Grand Junction Regional Center as a psychiatric technician until she retired. She moved from Colorado to Deseret, Utah, to enjoy the rest of her life. She loved genealogy, temple service, her family, her dog and also enjoyed camping and fishing. 

She was preceded in death by her husband: Orville; sons Gerry Lynn and James Lee; brothers James and Jack, and sister Betty Lou. She is survived by her son, Allen Wayne Fletcher (Louise, Denver, CO), and daughter Carol Sue Fletcher (Deseret, Utah); sister Shirley Mae (Colorado) and a granddaughter, Linda Sue. 

Jouise will be laid to rest in Fruita, Colorado. A Celebration of Life will be given on her behalf at the Deseret-Oasis ward building. Date is pending.
