Dena Harder Corwin

Dena was born in Payson, Utah on November 22, 1949 to Dean and Mabel Harder of Leamington, Utah and was an only child. 

She graduated from Delta High School in Delta, Utah. Dena went on to earn her BSN (Cum Laude) from the University of Utah and her MSN from Washington State University. She worked as a nurse her entire career, retiring from the Veterans Administration in 2009. A Veteran, Dena was a member of the US Army Nurse Corps, attaining the rank of Captain. 

Between caring for a multitude of chickens, goats, geese, parrots, cats, and dogs, she and Don were able to travel to 32 countries. Dena was a devoted grandmother who loved sharing projects unique to each of her special grandchildren whom she adored. Dena was preceded in death by her parents. 

She is survived by Don, her husband of 52 years; Eric (Jennifer) and Greg (Amanda); her two sons; and six grandchildren: Laura, Leia, Liana, Luke, Evelyn and Maggie. She is also survived by her cousin Fran (Gary) Lynch and close friend Toni Blackwell.
