Oct. 10, 1932 ~ Nov. 27, 2023

Pearl Brinkerhoff Robison, completed her mortal journey on November 27, 2023.

She passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and loved ones.

She was born to Wendell David  and Stella Hutchings Brinkerhoff in Flowell, Utah, on October 10, 1932.

She had an active and happy childhood. She loved her parents and her five brothers and two sisters. She learned to love gardening and yard work and a wide variety of pets. She had many friends and lots of extended family around her. She attended school in Fillmore, Utah, graduating from Millard High School in 1950. One of her greatest sorrows was the tragic death of her older brother Jim, who died in a car accident when she was 15 years old.

She was married to Junior Robison on November 1, 1950 in the Manti Temple. The couple arrived home from their honeymoon to find that Junior had been drafted into the army. While her husband was serving in Korea, Pearl moved back home with her parents. When Pearl and Junior were reunited following his military service, they began working together raising crops, cattle and children. Pearl was a wonderful homemaker. Her homemade bread and rolls were favorites. Each year she raised a large garden and kept a beautiful yard. She loved growing peonies. She was a gifted seamstress and quilt maker.

She supported Junior in many responsibilities in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. She herself served in many different callings in the church. Pearl and Junior particularly loved serving as missionaries at Cove Fort for several years. Through the years, she gave service to countless people in quiet, often unnoticed ways. She cared for her aging parents as they required her help. She was always faithful and held a temple recommend even when she could no longer attend the sessions in person.

She was a wonderful grandma. Holidays were her specialty. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren.

She endured, with faith, the loss of her husband and her beloved daughters, Wendy and Tess. These were her most difficult tests. She loved her family devotedly.

She lived her entire life in Flowell, Utah, until failing health made it necessary to move into a care center. While She always wanted to go home, she learned to love the wonderful people at Lotus Park care center and the nurses from A Plus hospice care.

She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Junior Robison and her daughters, Wendy Ellison and Tess Woods. She is survived by her son Durand (Julie) Robison, foster son Alvin Charley(Cindy) Young, and sons-in-law, David Ellison and Richard Woods. Also, 12 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson, sister Ginger Mikesell.

Funeral services will be held in the Flowell ward church on Saturday December 2, 2023 at 11 a.m. There will be a viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. There will also be a viewing on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. also at the Flowell ward church. Interment will be at the Fillmore cemetery.
